Where is the Flamingo located?
The property is located on 15th Street and Bay Road. Nestled in the heart of South Beach, the Flamingo is conveniently located just 1½ blocks from the very trendy Lincoln Road and just 2 blocks Flamingo Park.
How close is the beach?
Flamingo is located on Bay side (West) of South Beach. This is a more local/residential area of SoBe. The Beaches are on the East side of South Beach, located between 5th and 15th Street on Ocean Drive. This is primarily a very "touristy" area. The walking distance to the beach is about 15 minutes. The Flamingo has a row of cabs outside 24/7, and the ride would not be more than 2-3 minutes.
What is the best way to get around in South Beach?
The Flamingo is the only residential building that has a string of taxi-cabs available 24 hours a day. If you hopped into a taxi-cab, you can be anywhere in South Beach in about 3-5 minutes. This is the most recommended mode of transportation, as parking is hard to find and the cost of valet can really be costly.
Is the Condo Suite we see, the actual unit that we get?
Yes! We do not have duplicate units of the same Suites. The one you reserve is the same one you would receive.
What can we expect to be furnished in the condo? What would I need to bring with me?
We have really tried to think of everything you may need on your vacation to be comfortable. After a delightful 5 years in business, we believe we have heard it all. From blow-dryers to alarm clocks, beach towels to wash cloths, you can be confident our condo suites are prepared with almost anything you would require. Upon confirmation of your reservation, you will be sent a detailed list of everything you can expect to find furnished. Note: personal hygiene products are not included.
Can we receive a late check-out?
Well, I certainly hope so! The policy is as follows; If we do not have a check-IN for the date of your check-OUT, then I have no problem with any check-OUT time you desire. However, if I do book a check-IN for that date, and they require the normal 2:30PM check-IN time then it will not be possible. This is a very unlikely scenario, yet slightly possible. However, I will try to 1) push your checkout time to as late as possible, and/or 2) if possible, move your belongings and let you stay in another unit for the remaining few hours.
Does the condo suite have a washer/dryer unit?
The majority of the condo suites do have a washer/dryer, but they handle rather small loads. There is however a Laundry Room on every floor. The cost per load is $1.00.
